Guiding the next generation into confident adulthood

At The Rite Time in Stirling, Ontario, we believe in nurturing strong youth for a brighter tomorrow. In an era where growth and responsibility often take a backseat, we provide a vital pathway for young people to step confidently into their adult lives. This is where their journey to self-discovery and empowerment begins.

Why the rite time was born

We founded The Rite Time out of a deep understanding that today's youth face unique challenges in developing maturity and responsibility. Our future hinges on empowering strong, capable young adults. We are committed to bridging this gap, providing a transformative experience that fosters essential life skills and a profound sense of purpose. It's about building resilient individuals who are ready to contribute meaningfully to the world.

Embracing adulthood: a true rite of passage

At The Rite Time, a "rite of passage" signifies a profound transition – the welcoming of youth into their adult phase of life. It’s a deliberate journey designed to help young individuals and their parents acknowledge and embrace this new path with intention and understanding. Our programs provide a structured, supportive environment for this critical developmental stage, preparing youth for the responsibilities and joys of adulthood.

Our unique approach: nature, safety & growth

The Rite Time offers an all-inclusive space for youth to grow. Our programs involve camping safely in the heart of nature, where participants share stories, build community, and learn accountability. Crucially, our approach is non-religious, focusing instead on universal principles of self-discovery and resilience. This immersive week in the wilderness is designed to be a life-changing experience, emphasizing the grounding qualities of the outdoors and the power of solitude. Youth will feel empowered, confident, and proud of achieving a solo fast in the wilderness – an achievement many their age have not.

“The Rite Time gave my child the confidence and perspective they needed to truly step into their own. It was more than a program; it was a transformation.”
